Post tensioning is a technique for reinforcing concrete. Post-tensioning tendons, which are prestressing steel cables inside plastic ducts or sleeves, are positioned in the forms before the concrete is placed.
Our system applies a compressive force to the structure through the stressing of high strength steel strand with specialised anchorage assemblies. The flexibility of the strand is a major advantage, allowing it to be profiled through the concrete element, counteracting a portion of the applied loads to provide an exceptionally efficient structure.
